Minimum Requirements for Applicants

 


In order to qualify for a Sworn position,
an applicant must:

  • Corrections Sworn minimum age is 18
  • Law Enforcement Sworn minimum age is 19
  • Be a United States citizen; native-born or naturalized
  • Be a High School graduate or have equivalent (GED)
  • No drug use within the past 12 months
  • Never convicted of a felony
  • Never convicted of Domestic Battery
  • Have a good moral character

 


In order to qualify for a Support position,
an applicant must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be a High School graduate or have equivalent (GED)
  • Never convicted of a felony
  • No drug use within the past 12 months
  • Have a good moral character

 

At this time, the Monroe County Sheriff's Office is currently accepting applications for the positions listed below.
