The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office has an opening for Assistant Director-Human Resources. We are looking for someone who can provide strong HR leadership and assist with all human resources functions.

Key duties include:

• Scheduling, reviewing and evaluating the activites of the Human Resources staff
• Administrative support through analysis and various assigned projects
• Assisting District Commanders and Supervisors in personnel matters
• Administering and monitoring all agency matters concerning the Family and Medical Leave Act and Light Duty/No Work Status
• Oversee the agency's Drug Free Workplace Policy
• Assists in recruiting and promotional efforts
